1. Firstly, clean the oil and dust on the surface of the stainless steel sign, wipe it with cotton cloth, and then dissolve the paraffin with anhydrous alcohol and add a small amount of rosin.
2. Use the self-adhesive paper outside the patterns and words that need to be etched, and stick it on the label. Coat the alcohol solution of paraffin on the part outside the self-adhesive paper, and wait for the alcohol to volatilize, so that the paraffin is attached to the label to form a protective film.
3. Carefully tear off the self-adhesive paper, decorate the pattern with a knife (heating), put the label into dilute nitric acid, and pay attention to safety and ventilation.
4. If dilute nitric acid cannot be obtained, electrochemical corrosion can be carried out by adding salt water to a constant power supply): as long as the last step is changed to stainless steel connected to the positive pole of the power supply and the negative pole of the power supply connected to the graphite rod, the graphite rod and stainless steel invade about 5% of the salt water at the same time and are energized (separated by a semi permeable membrane in the middle), the stainless steel will be electrolytic corroded.
