Principle：work by heating and evaporating a metal (such as aluminum, copper, or gold) in a vacuum environment. The metal vapor is then deposited onto the substrate, forming a thin film.
The gold color is achieved by aluminum plating followed by a transparent yellow lacquer, or by direct gold plating (which is more expensive).
Features:
The metal layer is thin (nanometer-scale), has strong adhesion, and is wear-resistant.
The substrate can be plastic films such as PET, PP, and PVC, and can also be used on paper.
It is environmentally friendly and produces no chemical waste.
Metallic Gold Sticker Electroplating Process
Principle: A metal layer is deposited on the substrate surface through electrolysis.
Gold color is achieved by first plating a copper or nickel base, then applying a simulated gold layer (copper-zinc alloy), or directly plating with gold.
Features:
The metal layer is thicker (micrometer-level), resulting in a texture closer to real metal.
The substrate must be conductive (such as metal or plastic treated with a conductive coating).
This process is costly and environmentally friendly (electroplating wastewater must be treated).
Metallic Gold Sticker Printing Process
Principle: Gold ink (containing metallic powder or pearlescent pigment) is printed onto the substrate surface.
Gold Achievements:
Metallic Effect: Use ink blended with copper-gold powder, aluminum-silver paste, etc.
High Gloss: Add pearlescent pigment or interference pigment.
Features:
Low cost, suitable for high-volume printing.
The texture is slightly inferior to vacuum coating or electroplating, but offers a wide range of colors.
